The Stella Maris Resort Club

Located on 13 acres (52,000 m2) of land near the center of the development, the beach-resort is meandering over a slope facing the Atlantic Ocean. The out-island hotel is designed in an intimate plantation style offering a wide range of tropical Bahamas vacation rentals and accommodations scattered over a beautiful palm grove.

From ocean view hotel rooms to exclusive beach front bungalows, the resort club has the perfect getaway for families and single treasure hunters, for private pilots and fishermen, and those who simply want to relax and enjoy the still intact nature of the island. The resort is offering an exciting schedule of out-door activities as diving, snorkeling, sailing and deep sea or bone fishing.

The Stella Maris Marina is located on the West coast of Long Island facing the Exuma Bank, two and one half miles from the Stella Maris Resort Club. The marina is connected to the calm Caribbean Sea by a "mooring canal", an extra secure hurricane tie-up potential. Boaters and sailors are welcome to tie their ships in this secure haven.

16 boat slips are currently available berthing boats with drafts up to 8 feet (2.40 meters) and up to 100 feet (30 meters) of length. However, outside bottom depth is limiting access to drafts of up to 6 feet (1.80 meters).

The marina offers other facilities and service. A boat repair building and a boat ramp capable of hauling boats of 100 feet (30 meters) in length are in support of conducting marine and power plant repairs and overhauls. Three large 10,000 gallon (38,000 liters) fuel tanks and a comprehensive stock of marine parts and supplies are available for the maintenance and the operation of your vessel.

Dining at the Stella Maris Resort Club is all casual, absolutely no stress; and no ties for guys, unless you prefer to dress up to match the good taste of the female visitors!

Breakfast, lunch and diner is served at the club restaurant, the lounge and bar and at the garden pavilion. Before being seated for diner, try one of the typical Bahamian cocktails.

The club is proud of its cosmopolitan character. An international cuisine is offering a variety of Bahamian delicatessen and hearty American meals; and you will definitively be surprised by a subtle European cuisine too. Weekly specials as the cave party or the rum punch party are always enriched by Bahamian tunes, drinking and eating and dancing are in full harmony.
If you run 'to hot', cool off at the beach bar or dive into one of the swimming pools. The (small and big) kids can have fun at the pool, soccer, hockey or ping-pong tables or join the crowd at the highly quoted, thrilling 'crab race'. Many other activities are offered daily and if you really have to watch TV, relax in the meeting room; or hook up your laptop at the club's secured, wireless network. The best of all, it's free, included in your accommodation package.

Relax in the new sweet water pool

A new sweet water pool, a deck and a bar and grill was added for guests of the resort club right at the beach off the Atlantic coast. The bar is open for residents and visitors too. Have a cool drink at the bar; and enjoy the incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean.
